Oczywiście nie musi to by Windows 7, może to być jakikolwiek inny kliencji Windows, na którym nie mamy zainstalowanego SCCM-a, a chcemy miec z niego dostęp do zarządzania SCCM-em. Musimy mieć obraz płyty SCCM-a np SW_DVD5_Config_Mgr_Svr_2007_English_MLF_X14-66461. Po uruchomieniu setupu wybieramy opcje Install or upgrade an administrator console. Klikamy dalej i czekamy na koniec instalacji.
